You
have been set up with a temporary password. When you have signed on for the
first time you will be required to choose another password. You will be directed
to a new screen with a 3 level box. Type the temporary password in the top.
Type your new password in the middle. Re-type your new password in the bottom.
Make a note of your new password and keep it in a safe place as we do not have
records of passwords. If your temporary password is in letters please enter it
in capital letters. It is case sensitive. Your User ID is your account
number without preceding zeros or check cashing digits.
Multi-Factor
information
With our enhanced security system PLEASE take a moment to read each screen for
the prompts. Right now when you get to the Home Banking site, on the first
screen of Home Banking you will enter your Account Number which is your User
ID. Use the Log In button instead of enter. Please be patient, if it
doesn’t work the first time log off and sign on again on the Home Banking site.
Allow it time to load. Take your time and wait a few seconds to allow things to
cycle.
The second screen will ask you for your password. After you have entered your
password and hit Enter you will be directed to another screen where:
You will have to choose an image and insert it.
You will have to choose a phrase with 6 to 30 characters.
You will be given choices of 3 Challenge Questions. Take each question as they
come up, choose your question and type in your response.
You will be asked whether the computer you are using is a personal computer or a
public one. If it is your home computer whenever you use it you will not
have to go through the authentication process.
If it is a public one, such as at work, you will be prompted on future logins to
verify the picture and phrase and given the challenge questions.
Just take your time. Make a note of the questions you chose to answer and what
you replied. Keep it in a safe place at home. NET will not have any record of
your choices.
The strength of this system is that if anyone is phishing for actual account
numbers they are not privileged to your image, phrase and challenge questions.
If you should inadvertently enter your account number incorrectly, you will get
a bogus set of Challenge Questions because the security will not allow anyone to
phish for an account number.
You must enroll because if you do not
you will be locked out in the future.
If you do get locked out
of your online banking account, please call (570) 961-5300 or
e-mail
netfedcu@netfedcu.org . Please supply
us with your name and account number so we can take care of your matter asap.
