The price of higher education has skyrocketed. The process to receive funding overwhelms many students. The following steps may help take some of the pressure off of you.
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) - This is the first step you must complete every year of higher education. Your parents need to fill this out before applying for Federal or private school loans. This application must be completed by May 1st of each year. Click here for FAFSA
- Federal Direct Loans - This loan can be applied for directly through the U S Government website. Check with your school financial aid or use the link below. Click here for Federal Direct Loan Information
- Credit Union Student Choice- This private loan fills the gap needed after Federal Loans are exhausted and is held by NET Federal Credit Union.
NET Federal Credit Union now offers student loans to help you fill the funding gaps that federal aid can leave behind. By partnering with other credit unions to form Credit Union Student Choice, we are able to offer members lower cost financing options that will help you or a family member achieve your dream of a higher education.
